Last November, Awava was contacted by John Kuster, a man from Netherlands who had heard of our company and was hoping to spend time with us and some of our artisans. Particularly interested in weaving, John decided to visit our partners, Uganda Handloom Craft to look into their processes and take some footage.
John also visited Awava at the International Women's Organization Holiday Bizarre held at Kampala International School Uganda (KISU)where we dominated sales and John captured a bit of that flurry.
